Kelmscott Manor

Kelmscott Manor, a grade 1 Listed Tudor farmhouse adjacent to the River Thames, was built in 1570, with an additional wing added to the northeast corner in about 1665. The Manor is built of local limestone on the edge of the village of Kelmscott.   Kelmscott Manor

2008 Opening
We are open from 2nd April until 26th September 2008

General Public Open Days
House and Garden (visits not bookable in advance)

  • Every Wednesday, 11am to 5pm. Ticket office opens 10.30am. Last admission to the house 4.30pm.
    Eight Saturdays, 2pm to 5pm, as follows: April 19th, May 17th, June 21st, July 5th & 19th, August 2nd & 16th, Sept 20th. Ticket office opens 1.15pm. Last admission to the house 4.30pm.
    The house has limited capacity. Admission to the house is by timed ticket.

Garden only

Thursdays, June to Sept, 2pm to 5pm (as well as Wednesdays and open Saturdays)
Our Shop and licensed Restaurant are open throughout the general public open times.

Admission prices
House and Garden: Adults £8.50; Children (8 to 16 years) £4.25; Students in f/t education and with a valid student's card £4.25; one carer accompanying a disabled person FREE.
Garden only: £2
